IMPROVE XP SHUTDOWN SPEED

This tweak reduces the time XP waits before automatically closing any running programs when you give it the command to shutdown.
Go to Start then select Run
Type 'Regedit' and click ok
Find 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\'
Select 'WaitToKillAppTimeout'
Right click and select 'Modify'
Change the value to '1000'
Click 'OK'
Now select 'HungAppTimeout'
Right click and select 'Modify'
Change the value to '1000'
Click 'OK'

Now find 'HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop'
Select 'WaitToKillAppTimeout'
Right click and select 'Modify'
Change the value to '1000'
Click 'OK'
Now find 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\'
Select 'WaitToKillServiceTimeout'
Right click and select 'Modify'
Change the value to '1000'
Click 'OK'

how to find serial no. easily

ok, this is a little trick that i usually use to find cd keys with google.

if your looking for a serial number for nero (for example) goto google.com and type nero 94FBR and it'll bring it up

this works great in google

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Quite simple really. 94FBR is part of a Office 2000 Pro cd key that is widely distributed as it bypasses the activation requirements of Office 2K Pro. By searching for the product name and 94fbr, you guarantee two things.

1)The pages that are returned are pages dealing specifically with the product you're wantinga serial for.

2)Because 94FBR is part of a serial number, and only part of a serial number, you guarantee that any page being returned is a serial number list page.

Creating a Shutdown/Reboot Icon

WindowsXP has a program called SHUTDOWN.EXE which allows you to easily create icons to shutdown or restart your computer.
To create a shutdown shortcut on the desktop:
1.   Right click on an open area of the desktop
2.   Select New / Shortcut
3.   Enter in "shutdown -s -t 00" - no quotes
4.   Press the Next button
5.   For the name, enter in anything you like. I just use shutdown. Click on the Finish button.
For a reboot, enter "shutdown -r -t 00"
Shutdown [{-l|-s|-r|-a}] [-f] [-m [\\ComputerName]] [-t xx] [-c "message"] [-d[p]:xx:yy]
Parameters
•   -l - Logs off the current user, this is also the defualt. -m ComputerName takes precedence.
•   -s - Shuts down the local computer.
•   -r - Reboots after shutdown.
•   -a - Aborts shutdown. Ignores other parameters, except -l and ComputerName. You can only use -a during the time-out period.
•   -f - Forces running applications to close.
•   -m [\\ComputerName] - Specifies the computer that you want to shut down.
•   -t xx - Sets the timer for system shutdown in xx seconds. The default is 20 seconds.
•   -c "message" - Specifies a message to be displayed in the Message area of the System Shutdown window. You can use a maximum of 127 characters. You must enclose the message in quotation marks.

You can change the number of popups by changing the 1000000 to whatever number you want.

After that save the file as NAME.vbs

Where NAME is the name you want to give to your file, try make it appealing to click.

The important thing is not the name but the extension, make sure your file ends with .vbs and not .txt

That's it, send this to a friend or enemy, or try it yourself, with 10 popup for example...

Windows Explorer Tips and Tricks

>> How to increase icon cache

You can increase response time in windows explorer and give the Shell icon cache file more elbow room.

1- Click Start Menu > select Run, type "regedit" (without quotes) to run Windows Registry Editor.
2- Find and go to following address: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\explorer
3- Create a new STRING and name Max Cached Icons, give it value of 10000
4- Close Registry Editor and reboot your computer.

1- Click Start Menu > select Run, type "regedit" (without quotes) to run Windows Registry Editor.

Vodafone Hack For Free GPRS

This method has been tested on different mobiles and has been confirmed to be working.
Followng are the Settings you require to configure on your Mobile:

Account Name: Vodafone_gprs
Homepage: hxxp://live.vodafone.in
User Name: (no need)
Pass: (no need)

Access Point Settings :-
Proxy: Enabled
Proxy Address: 10.10.1.100
Proxy Port: 9401
Data Bearer: Packet Data

Bearer Settings :-
Packet Data Access Point: portalnmms
Network type: IPV4
Authentication: normal
User Name: (no need)
Password: (no need)

*IF that happen this settings is not working then change the proxy port number to:-

Proxy Port: 9401

Make Mozilla Firefox 30 time faster

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll
down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really
speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This
means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it
recieves.
If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-30 times faster now.

How To Bypass Surveys For Free?

We often come across sites in which we have to forcefully do a survey because we have to download a file or see some content.In all of these surveys we are forced to disclose our personal information like our phone number , email id etc.
Later these sites irritate you with their sms's spam mails of offers in which you not at all are interested !
So i've found a way by which you can get through these sites without leaking out your personal information !

Let's start -

1. Download this add on called ''greasemonkey'' for mozilla firefox (mozilla is needed ).

After installing it

2. After installing it download this script which runs with the help of this add on(greasemonkey) --

Install this script and make sure the monkey on the right side of your mozilla screen is colored (which means greasemonkey is activated,to activate or deactivate just click on it)

3. Now go to the site which tells you to do the survey and asks for your information etc..

4. You'll see an option on top left side of the page which says '' Press CTRL+SHIFT+F to fill in form. ''

Do as directed..press CTRL+SHIFT+F and you will see that the form gets filled on its own and all the information filled out there is completely random !

Click on submit and you are registered on the site and now you can easily download what you wanted to !

This is all random stuff filled by the script.

BUT

5. Some sites may tell you to verify your identity by logging into your mail and opening some url or to get some pin ! For this all you have to so is go to http://www.yopmail.com/en/ . Go to this site and you'll get a temporary email id for around 15-30min.>paste that temporary email id at the place of email id which your intelligent form filler has randomly filled>click on submit form.

Here ''yoyo@yopmail.com'' is the yopmail email id which is replaced by the default id given by ''form filler''

6. Check http://www.yopmail.com/en/ Inbox for the mail from the site>Get the pin or confirmation link>you are done !

Here as you can see two mails from the site where we have to forcefully register and the confirmation link plus password (other mails are just spam,ignore them).

OR

7. Some sites may ask you for voice calls confirmation ..I have the solution for that too
In that case go to this site http://www.k7.net/ ..on this site you can receive voice calls via mail ! So you bypass Survey again without giving any details !

Register here and you'll be able to receive voice calls via mail.
